This is just what I was looking for – a vacuum that easily adapted to all floor surfaces (wood, tile, carpet). It is not heavy as some reviews stated compared to my kenmore progressive upright. It moves easily along all of my floors. The only complaint I have is the on/off button is located on the handle so I accidentally turn it off all the time.
It is easy to dump the dirt canister. It picks up pet hair. And the onboard tools are convenient to use. The electrical cord is so long I don’t have to plug and unplug to vacuum the house. And the hand held hose is also nice and long so the vacuum doesn’t tip over and hit me in the head when vacuuming on my knees like my progressive always did. I am very pleased with this Bissell 5770 Upright Vacuum so far.
